Entry-Level Driver Training

The Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) Program is designed to provide a student with the knowledge and skills necessary in operating a Commercial Vehicle safely on all U.S. roads and highways facilitating Inter/Intra state commerce in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA regulations. This course will prepare students to successfully complete the Commercial Learner’s Permit Test (CLP) and the Commercial Driving License (CDL) Test administered by the Department of Motor Vehicles of California (DMVCA).

This program will provide thorough training along with teaching awareness of Safety, Accountability, and Liability concerns faced by a qualified Professional Commercial Driver. In addition, the student will receive further insights into the transportation industry. These include employer expectations, salary expectations, FMCSA Hours of Service regulations & CSA accountabilities, and much more.
