At St. Louis Community College, experienced instructors care about your success. We meet with Industry advisory boards made up of employers to help continuously improve our program and stay up to date with industry trends to ensure you are ready to start your first job. We only use industry standard 9-speed or 10-speed manual transmissions, with air brakes, for all of your training, so you will not have any restrictions on your license. You will learn in Freightliner or International conventional tractors that will be similar to what you will use on the job. For the Class A program, you will learn with 53’ trailers. Upon completing our Class A or B training program, you'll be prepared to go to work in your new career as a professional driver.
