CDS Tractor Trailer Training
For more than twenty-five years, CDS Tractor Trailer Training has been training truck drivers. With CDL training available at multiple locations throughout Virginia, CDS ensures a superior training experience. The team, comprising staff and instructors with vast experience in the trucking industry, is committed to delivering professional and safety-centered Commercial Driver’s License training.
Since 1999, CDS has been training new CDL drivers in Virginia and nearby states to start a successful trucking career.
At CDS Tractor Trailer Training, students train to become safety-conscious drivers in the trucking industry. During their Class A CDL Training, students will be able to utilize a balance of classroom instruction and hands-on and behind-the-wheel training, preparing them to pass both the DMV written CDL exam and skills test.
Class A CDL training prepares students to land an entry-level job operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle. Class A vehicles are defined as any combination of vehicles with GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds provided the GVWR of the vehicles being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Program Length: 20-days / 160-hours
Class Start: Class A CDL Training courses begin every two weeks. Full-time classes are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm for 4-weeks. Part-time training runs Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am until 5:00 pm for 10-weeks
