Blue Horizon Truck Driving School strives to instill the necessary skills, as well as professional attitude, needed to become successful in today’s trucking world. CDL Refresher Course

Blue Horizon Driving Academy is delighted to accommodate students who are unable to attend lessons during the day and require evening or weekend CDL classes in Chicago. The following instruction is included in the CDL refresher course:

Classroom

The written component of your test will be more than adequately prepared by 40 hours of classroom training. Blue Horizon Driving Academy's professional teachers will work directly with you to ensure your success.

The Driver's Seat

Blue Horizon CDL will assist you in building your driving abilities on local streets, highways, and more congested interstate routes. You’ll be ready for your exam, which will demand you to drive on a variety of different roadways.

CDL Test Prep

CDL Test Prep at Blue Horizon Driving Academy

You’ll need CDL training to prepare for the exam before you can drive a commercial truck. Blue Horizon CDL Driving Classes provide you with the low-cost, personalized education you need to pass your exam and start your career.

Instruction in the classroom

The classroom section of the four-week course lasts one-quarter of the time and will teach you the laws and regulations of truck driving. You will receive all of the material you will need in order to pass the written component of the exam.

Behind-the-Wheel Training

What distinguishes a skilled driver from an unprepared one is their experience behind the wheel. Practice driving on the course as well as local roads, streets, and highways will be part of your driver’s education. Interstate routes will be provided to help you prepare for the exam, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to practice your driving skills.

CDL Training

The CDL program may be completed in four 40-hour weeks of training. Your time will be divided between the following tasks:

Class A CDL at Blue Horizon Driving Academy

With 4 weeks of classroom instruction and in-depth training behind the wheel, Blue Horizon CDL will provide you with all the information and practice you require. In each US state, our CDL Class A certification course will qualify you to drive a “Class A” truck. After 40 hours in the classroom and practice driving on local and interstate routes, you will be properly prepared for your exam.
