A great service that many of the top trucking schools offer is job placement. Job placement services can help you work on your resume, practice interview questions, and most importantly place you into a job with a partner. Many schools work with companies in their area, connecting their students with a job after graduation at one of these companies. Some trucking schools are run by reputable trucking companies who will place you into a job after you graduate!

There are some requirements you might need to meet for these placement opportunities, such as a certain GPA.

Here are some schools that have job placement programs for their CDL students.

All State Career School – All State Career School offers placement for recent graduates and alumni alike. They also offer career planning services like resume writing, and skills assessments.

C.R. England – C.R. England’s Premier Driving School offers job placement upon graduation into a C.R. England position. They also offer tuition reimbursement with a 12 month driving commitment.

CRST – After a 4 week training program, you can be placed into a driving position at CRST. You will also get paid while you train for this great career. 

Commercial Driver Training – Based in New York, Commercial Driver training offers job placement assistance. 

Dawn Career School – DCI works with their wide network of business to match business and graduates suited to these open positions.

Delta Technical College – In order to qualify for job placement assistance, you must have a GPA above a C, have at least a 90% attendance record, and have the correct skills to match the open position. This is available to all Delta Technical College graduates who meet these criteria.

Fortis – Fortis is dedicated to connecting graduates into secure employment in entry-level positions. Each campus has a career services center where you will meet with an advisor before graduation. Your advisor can offer different resources to assist you.

HDS Truck Driving Institute – HDS Truck Driving Institute has a first-class job placement service. They assist high school students by connecting them with trucking jobs, so these students can be ready to hit the road after graduation. 

Hirschbach – Hirschbach will place you into one of their open driving positions after graduation. With a driving commitment, you can be paid while you train and have no out-of-pocket expenses for your training.

Lone Star Truck Driving Academy – In order to qualify for Lone Star Truck Driving Academy’s job placement assistance, you must have no drug-related convictions in the last 3 years, no DUI convictions in the past year, no at-fault accidents, or other violations in the past 3 years. You must also be able to obtain a DOT medical certificate. These requirements are very common for trucking jobs, and if you meet them, you can be placed with a partner.

Midwest Technical Institute – To qualify for Midwest Technical Institute’s job placement assistance, you must maintain an average GPA of a C or above, have at least a 90% attendance record, and have the skills to match the position being offered. This program is available to all MTI graduates.

Phoenix Truck Driving Institute – Phoenix Truck Driving Institute will help you start the job application process while you are still in school so you can start driving as soon as you graduate. Many of their students are hired before they even complete their program.

Roadmaster Drivers School – At Roadmaster, advisors will work with you as soon as you are admitted, you will work with placement associates to connect you with partner companies, submitting applications for you so you can get a pre-hire letter even before you graduate from school.

SAGE Truck Driving School – SAGE works with all graduates to help place you with high quality local, regional, and national trucking companies. The experienced staff has placed thousands of students into good truck driving jobs.

TMC Transportation – At TMC, you can be placed into a job as soon as you graduate from your program. With a one year driving commitment, you will not have to pay any money up front for your education as well.
